Teacher of Business Studies

Lampton School is a large, mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 school. We were judged as "Outstanding" in all categories by Ofsted in 2005, 2008, 2013 and 2024. We are the lead school for the London West Alliance and Teach West London, and we are a teacher training partner with the University of Roehampton. As a member of the Hounslow Education Partnership, we can offer staff excellent opportunities for professional learning and career progression. We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspiring teacher of Business Studies to join the very popular Business department in September 2026. The Business Studies department has 3 OCR GCSE cohorts in years 10 and 11 and the subject is often oversubscribed. We offer BTEC Business Diploma at Sixth form. Students make very strong progress across all courses. The department's GCSE progress is consistently above the national average as are results for our BTEC at Alps 3. Applications are welcome from teachers with QTS, QTLS. Very good support is given to ECTs and those training to teach in the school.
