Teacher of Business

Inspire ambitious Business Studies students at an outstanding sixth form college New College Pontefract is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of A Level Business and/or Level 3 BTEC Business. You will deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that help students build confidence, deepen their understanding of Business and achieve their full potential. Alongside classroom teaching, you will use assessment, feedback and academic monitoring to support progress, raise aspirations and help young people take their next steps beyond college. We are looking for a passionate subject specialist with strong knowledge of Business and a genuine commitment to post-16 education. You may already have experience of teaching A Level or Level 3 learners, or you may be an 11–16 teacher, ECT or trainee with the potential and enthusiasm to thrive in a sixth form college setting. You will bring high expectations, strong communication and organisation skills, and the ability to encourage, inspire and motivate learners. Just as importantly, you will be reflective, collaborative and committed to student welfare, safeguarding and contributing positively to college life.
