About this role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Biology up to A-Level to join our busy and flourishing senior school. The successful candidate will teach across Years 9-13, for which we deliver the OCR A-Level, AQA GCSE and International Baccalaureate specifications, including separate and Combined Science at GCSE.
This position is suitable for Early Career Teachers, for whom Taunton School runs an extensive programme of support.
The department is made up of a group of well-motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working individuals who enjoy working together in a friendly and pleasant working environment. The Head of Department is supportive and makes every effort to develop each teacher, encouraging exciting new teaching methods whilst maintaining high standards of delivery. This is a fast-paced, effective and dynamic department which would suit a teacher who welcomes a challenge and is open to new ideas and technologies and who wants to teach all ages.
