Teacher of Biology/ ESS

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher of Biology/Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS) to join our science department. This position involves teaching high/secondary school students within an international curriculum framework. Position: Teacher of Biology / ESS Department: Science Education Stage: High/Secondary School Curriculum: International Location: Bengaluru, India Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies. - Develop lesson plans aligned with the international curriculum standards. - Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. - Foster a positive learning environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and scientific exploration. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science program. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science or related field (minimum qualification). - At least 4 years of teaching experience at the secondary/high school level. - Strong knowledge of biology concepts as well as environmental systems relevant to the ESS syllabus. - Experience teaching within an international curriculum preferred. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff. - Ability to use technology effectively in classroom instruction.
