0.8 FTE Required for January 2027 Cheltenham Ladies’ College has a competitive pay scale with membership of the TPS, or membership of a Defined Contribution (DC) Pension Scheme. The DC option includes an additional non-pensionable cash allowance. Starting salary depending on skills, qualifications and experience. A well-qualified, inspiring and dynamic teacher is required to teach Biology. We have a thriving and innovative Biology department, attracting over 140 students to one of our Sixth Form courses including A level and IB Biology. A large number of students choose to go on to study Biology-related courses at degree level, such as Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Psychology and Natural Sciences. The successful applicant will be part of a team of eleven specialist teachers. The department is well-resourced and full support with induction and continuing professional development is provided. All teachers are expected to contribute to the rich co-curricular life of the College, but there are no residential duties.
