We are seeking applications for an exciting part-time post of Teacher of Law. This new role has been created in response to growing student demand for Social Science subjects at Runshaw College. The School of Social Sciences supports over 1,800 students aged 16–18 studying A levels in Law, Sociology and Psychology, alongside the Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology and vocational Social Sciences. The School also delivers the Access to Higher Education Diploma, Social Sciences Pathway. Social Sciences is a large and highly successful School, with outcomes consistently above national benchmarks and high levels of student satisfaction. This post would suit a strong and successful teacher with a passion for Law and a commitment to inspiring young people. The successful candidate will hold a degree in a relevant subject area and have a proven track record of delivering Law to a high standard at Key Stage 5. You will be able to design and deliver creative, engaging lessons and adopt a clearly student-centred approach to learning.
