Teacher of A-Level Biology & GCSE Science - 4 days p/w

Albemarle Independent College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced teaching practitioner to teach A-Level Biology and GCSE Science from September 2026 (4 days a week). Albemarle has an exceptional reputation for achieving excellent A-level and GCSE results, considerably above the national average. Applicants should have at least 3 years relevant teaching experience in the UK, with the 16-18 age group. Albemarle is based in the heart of Mayfair in central London, and all students progress on to universities in the UK, USA or Europe. Most students have high aspirations and so excellent exam results are a key USP of the college. Teaching is in small groups of no more than 8 students. The college is inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), from whom we have received an outstanding commendation for the last 4 years. Days: 4 days per week (working days to be decided in negotiation with the Principals). Salary: 40-44K Dependent on experience.
