Teacher / Head of Mathematics

Oxford International College is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Mathematics to start in September 2026 with potential for Head of Mathematics. A later start date may be negotiable for the right candidate. The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering outstanding Mathematics teaching to highly motivated students, ensuring excellent academic outcomes at A Level and IGCSE. They will support the college's vision for academic excellence by delivering a rigorous curriculum, monitoring student progress effectively, and contributing to the wider life of the college. The Head of Mathematics is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing Mathematics Department that delivers outstanding A-level and IGCSE results typically receiving 90% plus A*/A A-Level results. While the post holder will have the support of a Deputy Head of Mathematics, they will retain ultimate responsibility for setting the vision, priorities, and standards within the department. The Head of Mathematics will define the scope of the Deputy’s role and delegate responsibilities appropriately to ensure effective delivery of departmental objectives. This role requires exceptional subject expertise, strong pedagogical leadership, and the ability to inspire both students and staff within a culturally diverse, academically driven environment.
