Teacher Assistant (Level 1)

Teaching Assistant Level 1 from September 2026 (4 positions fixed term for 1 year) Term time 28 hours a week NJC Scale C SCP 3-4 Actual salary: £16,845 to £17,109 This popular, oversubscribed school is seeking to recruit four (1 year fixed term) outstanding Teaching Assistants to become part of a developing SEN team. The successful applicants will be required to join and work with a forward-looking team to provide support in a mainstream setting for students with a range of special educational needs as part of a highly supportive department. Enhanced due to the nature of the work, the post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful candidate must be able to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure (via the Criminal Records Bureau) in order to be appointed to the post.
