About this role
Why do people conform? Can our memories ever be trusted? Are we shaped more by nature or nurture? Did those questions spark a surge of enthusiasm and a flurry of ideas for lesson plans? If so, we would love to hear from you.
We're looking for an inspirational Psychology teacher to join our team at an Ofsted Outstanding college, consistently ranked among the top 10 FE colleges in the UK by NICDEX. If you are positive, proactive and bring a thoughtful and solutions focused approach, you will thrive here.
With over 550 students studying A Level Psychology, you will be joining one of the largest and most successful Psychology departments in the region. Psychology continues to be a highly popular subject and is also delivered very successfully as part of the International Baccalaureate. You will join a large and experienced team of subject specialists, with excellent opportunities to collaborate, share best practice and contribute your own ideas and strengths to a thriving department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Psychology specialist to deliver engaging and ambitious teaching at Level 3, placing learners at the centre of everything you do and supporting them to achieve outstanding progress and aspirational goals.
In addition to teaching, you will play a key role as a personal tutor, providing pastoral support and guidance to students throughout their college journey.
