Swim Coach

Westminster Under School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Swim Coach to work with children aged 7 and above, helping them to develop their confidence, technique and swimming skills. The successful candidate will deliver engaging coaching sessions for swimmers with a wide range of abilities and experience levels, creating a positive and supportive environment in which every child can progress. Reporting to the Director of Sport and working closely with other members of teaching staff, the Swim Coach will play an important role in supporting pupils’ development, while encouraging a lifelong enjoyment of swimming. Lessons take place at the Queen Mother Sports Centre, located a short walk from the main school site, where all pupils receive weekly swimming lessons up to the end of Year 6. While formal qualifications are not essential, previous experience of coaching swimming to children is required. The school is looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can build strong relationships with pupils and motivate them to achieve their full potential in the pool.
