About this role
We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring supply and temporary teacher of French and Spanish on a full-time basis, with a start date of September 2026.
You will be a highly qualified, committed, and innovative educator, an effective communicator with a positive, encouraging, and collaborative style that enriches the work of this successful department.
You will inspire both students and colleagues, fostering a truly exciting Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) culture within the school. Your role will primarily focus on teaching French and Spanish at GCSE level and above, with the flexibility to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 as required. There is also substantial scope for involvement in our related enrichment programmes.
Our teachers share a strong sense of community and enthusiasm, where active participation, both pastorally and within the broader curriculum, is the norm.
The MFL Department consistently celebrates strong examination results at both GCSE and A Level. The department features dedicated classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards, alongside access to extensive specialised resources. We deliver our curriculum in small class sizes, benefiting from high standards of student behaviour and strong support from parents.
Applications will be reviewed upon receipt and successfully shortlisted applications will be invited to interview.
