About this role
We are outstanding, you can be too.
Are you someone who strives to develop and inspire learners’ skills?
We are looking for multiple Subject Tutors to join our vibrant Education team here at Portland Charity. We are seeking multiple confident and enthusiastic Tutors to join our Main Campus in Mansfield. This role will involve providing a high standard of teaching and learning in two or more specific subject areas. We are looking for someone who has experience in the delivery of practical life skills, such as bike maintenance, independence, or health and wellbeing. The successful candidate will be skilled in adapting lessons and resources in order to meet the needs of learners.
Subject tutors will work closely with members of the Education Team to enable our learners to reach their full potential. They will closely liaise with Progression Tutors to establish appropriate skills needed to support aspects of learners’ study programmes and will provide them with up to date industry skills to be successful in the workplace.
We would particularly like to hear from tutors who have skills and experience in delivering sport, media and maths and English programmes.
We are looking for someone who is hard working, driven, and passionate about working with young people and adults to overcome barriers to learning, and to support and inspire them to develop in areas such as health and wellbeing; independence; and employment.
If you feel that you could help to make a real difference here at Portland, we look forward to hearing from you.
As this role involves regulated activity, we will be required to carry out an enhanced with child and adult barred lists DBS check for the successful candidate.
