About the Post We are seeking an exceptional and inspirational Teacher of Physics to join our high-performing department, with additional responsibility as Subject Leader for Physics. This rare opportunity combines classroom excellence with strategic leadership. The role is based at Twynham School, within the Twynham School and The Grange School federation. Our collaborative approach allows us to share expertise and resources across both schools, ensuring we deliver the very best educational experience for the young people of Christchurch. We are looking for a talented and committed teacher who will relish the opportunity to lead and deliver engaging, challenging, and thought-provoking Physics lessons from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. You will be responsible for driving excellent progress across your classes and for cultivating a calm, purposeful learning environment where all students can thrive. You will be confident in planning and delivering lessons that are responsive to the needs of all learners, and you will be passionate about supporting students’ academic and personal development. As Subject Leader you will play a key role in shaping the curriculum, mentoring colleagues, and ensuring consistently high standards in teaching and outcomes. You will work closely with colleagues across the federation to share best practice and contribute to the ongoing development of mathematics provision.
