About this role
Rochdale Sixth Form College, part of the Altus Education Partnership, is seeking to appoint an exceptional Subject Leader of Computer Science. RSFC offers AQA A-Level Computer Science to around 140 students across Years 12 and 13. The department has secured outstanding recent outcomes, including a 100% pass rate in 2025 and significant improvements in high grades and progression to top universities.
About the Role:
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and developing the Computer Science curriculum
Line managing and supporting teaching staff
Driving outstanding teaching and learning
Monitoring student progress and achievement
Promoting innovation and sharing best practice
Contributing to whole-college improvement

Holds a relevant degree and PGCE with QTS/QTLS
Is a passionate and inspiring Computer Science teacher
Has a strong track record of excellent A-Level results
Is an outstanding classroom practitioner
