Subject Lead Biology

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and well-qualified Subject Lead for Biology to lead our successful Biology department. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding classroom practitioner with the vision and ambition to inspire a love of Biology across Key Stages 3–5 and to lead the continued development of the subject. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, high expectations of students, and the ability to motivate and support to deliver outstanding teaching and learning. Experience of teaching the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme would be an advantage. As Subject Lead, you will: Provide strategic leadership for Biology, driving high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement. Lead the planning, delivery and review of an engaging Biology curriculum. Monitor student progress and use data effectively to improve outcomes. Promote Biology through enrichment opportunities and encourage participation beyond the classroom.
