About this role

Student Wellbeing Officer - Safeguarding and Wellbeing - REF 260804 Up to £26,469 p.a. (FTE £31,789 p.a.) Working 36 hours per week, 38 weeks during term time Hours are worked Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.15pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. We may be able to offer some flexibility in the working pattern and hours worked. However, the role must be delivered across five days per week and requires a regular presence during core student-facing hours, typically between 9.00am and 4.00pm, to ensure appropriate support and visibility when learners are on campus. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Safeguarding and Wellbeing team as a Student Wellbeing Officer. This hybrid role brings together visible student liaison, early help, wellbeing intervention and targeted support for vulnerable learners. The role is designed to strengthen student resilience, promoted positive behaviour and help remove barriers to learning and achievement. The successful applicant will be a positive, approachable and professionally curious practitioner who can build trusted relationships with students and staff, maintain a visible presence across college and provide structured one-to-one and group support.
