Student Welfare Officer

We are seeking a Student Welfare Officer to join our team at Jubilee High School, part of Bourne Education Trust. As Student Welfare Officer, you will play a central role in supporting students’ personal development, wellbeing and behaviour - ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to thrive and succeed. You will work closely with our Heads of Year to maintain the highest standards of behaviour, attendance and conduct across the school. You will be a visible and trusted presence for students, providing guidance, consistency and care, as well as responding swiftly and effectively when challenges arise. You will take on specific duties and responsibilities which may include attendance, inclusion or other appropriate specialist roles. These roles should be considered to be flexible and areas of specialism may be expected to change according to operational need.
