Full Time Permanent (39 weeks per annum)
NJC Band F (SCP 12-17) £28,598-£31,022 pro rata (Actual £24,816 based on 36 hours, 39 weeks per annum)

The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated Student Support with a focus on Attendance, with the skills, enthusiasm and drive to be part of our highly successful school.
Based in our Student Wellbeing Hub, this new role will support the strategic work of our Head of Student Services and our Attendance Improvement Worker, to improve attendance and reduce school absences, in particular, with our EBSA students.
The successful candidate will be flexible, compassionate and confident working in a fast-paced busy environment, and will ideally have knowledge of school-based systems such as Arbor.
An in-depth understanding of the barriers to school attendance and the impact that absences have on academic achievement, along with an understanding of difficulties faced by families under stress, is essential. A full clean driving licence is also required, as the post-holder will be expected to undertake regular home visits to families, and transport students into school where necessary.
