Grade 12: £28,598 - £32,061 pro rata (£24,816 - £27,821 actual)
37 hours a week, Term Time + insets

We are seeking to appoint an empathetic and resilient individual to manage a caseload of students who are currently not attending or engaging with school due to emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA). You will provide vital educational and pastoral support to students and their families, with the ultimate aim of facilitating a successful re-integration into school life. Experience supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), mental health challenges, or EBSA is essential as is a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for home visits.
Your day-to-day work will involve delivering a tailored programmes of 1-to-1 or small group lessons and interventions. This delivery will happen through remote learning, home visits and sessions based within the school. The programme will focus on core subjects and be highly tailored around the individual needs of each child.
You will join a team of staff committed to improving the life chances of all young people in their care. You must have excellent ICT and organisational skills, and be confident in working with students and staff alike. It is essential that you are able to develop positive relationships and effective working practices to be able to support young people and their families. You must be pro-active and flexible. A commitment to improving the outcomes of all students is essential, and experience of working with those who have additional needs desirable.
