An exciting opportunity for a Sports Teacher to develop their skills whilst gaining extensive, worthwhile working experience in a friendly and supportive independent prep and senior school. The post will be particularly attractive to NQT/ECTs for whom a residential role would be an exciting opportunity. We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, enthusiastic and inspirational individual to teach Physical Education and Girls’ Games (our main girls’ school sports are: Hockey, Cricket, Football, and Netball). Ideally, we also want this individual to be able to support our small boarding community throughout the week (Mon – Fri) for the Autumn 26 and Spring 27 terms. Accommodation will be provided in the boarding house whilst in the boarding role and offered elsewhere on site (at a small charge) when no longer in the boarding role.
Sport: The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm and passion to all that is conducted in the sporting and physical education arena at Hall Grove. They will motivate children and staff to enjoy and develop sporting and health and fitness opportunities. They will teach children from 3 years old up to 15 years old. They will have the capability and imagination to support Girls’ Games and the delivery of a fully co-ed Physical Education programme as well as supporting our fixture programme. The role will involve supporting, planning and leading games sessions, and managing teams on match days. The role will also involve some administration tasks and attendance at sports tournaments, so a willingness to drive a school vehicle would be advantageous; therefore, a full driving licence is desirable.
Boarding : Assisting the Head of Boarding and ASC for at least the first two terms. The role will involve the organisation and supervision of after-school clubs and activities, and assisting the Head of Boarding with boarding duties. The successful candidate will be diligent, enthusiastic and nurturing in the boarding environment. Working co
