Sports Coach

Stockport Grammar School is seeking to appoint from September 2026 (or earlier if possible) an outstanding, enthusiastic and committed individual who has the capacity to coach and deliver lessons across the school. It is essential that those who apply for this role have experience of working with children. Candidates with experience of delivering sporting provision across primary and secondary ages will be at a distinct advantage. SGS aspires to cement its position as a leading sporting school in the region and is looking to excel further whilst delivering a broad and balanced curriculum. The department is well resourced and supported. If you are passionate about sport, have ambitions for a future in sport or have a good pedigree of sports coaching and (or) playing experience, then this position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career working alongside a talented and dedicated PE department in a school with excellent sporting facilities. This role is offered term-time only, working 11.00 - 17.00 Monday- Friday. Plus, Saturday mornings (3 hours).
