Speech & Language Therapist

Are you an experienced clinician excited to work during times of transformative change? Are you experienced, or have a keen interest in working with the challenges associated with neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD) and other complex needs? If so, we have the role for you! We’re looking for an experienced practitioner to join us at our school based in Herefordshire, as our Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. Based at Queenswood School and the post holder will progress the SaLT specific therapeutic services for our young people who have a diagnosis of autism and associated complex needs. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary well-being and therapeutic services team which is required to meet the needs of the children and young people. The team includes Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapists, CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Worker, Creative Therapists and School Counsellor. Someone with a holistic and integrated approach to education and clinical services would be perfect for this role. You will also contribute to colleague training, consultation and reflective practice. Both a challenging and rewarding role; this position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual with a therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions as well as manage their own workload. About the school: Queenswood School is set across two sites in a beautiful rural location in Herefordshire. We are an Independent Specialist day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 11 to 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum. The Post Holder will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our young people.
