We're looking for a passionate and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing therapy team and make a meaningful difference to the lives of our students.
The Role
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, student-centred therapy across the college and school.
You'll manage a varied caseload, supporting children and young people with a wide range of communication needs, while working closely with colleagues, families and external professionals to ensure a joined-up and consistent approach.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing a caseload of students with complex communication needs, delivering both direct and indirect therapy interventions
Completing assessments and developing tailored treatment plans, reviewing progress and adapting interventions as needed
Working collaboratively with education, residential and therapy teams to embed communication strategies across the setting
Supporting and training staff to develop their understanding of Speech and Language needs and approaches
Contributing to EHCP reviews, annual reviews and clinical reporting, ensuring clear and accurate documentation
Working closely with families, carers and external professionals to provide advice, guidance and consistent support
