About this role
Oundle School is seeking an experienced Specialist Technical Instructor to give advice and instruction on engineering and fabrication to pupils aged 11-18 in our state-of-the-art Patrick Engineering Centre.
The Role
The purpose of the role is to give patient advice and instruction on engineering and fabrication to pupils aged between 11-18 in a co-educational school workshop during lesson times and free time practical sessions in our Patrick Engineering Centre.
The Design, Engineering and Technology Department is housed in the state-of-the-art Patrick Engineering Centre, a new building opened in September 2016 which is part of the Sci-Tec campus close to the centre of the school.
Working within the Design, Engineering and Technology Department, the role holder will report to the Director of the Patrick Engineering Centre.
This role will be part-time, 24 hours per week (on a Thursday, Friday, plus one other day in the week or half a day) plus a Saturday morning from 08:30 – 13:00, based on a 33-week contract (paid for 37.47).
