Aldenham Prep Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Start Date: August 2026 Contract Type: Full-time Curriculum: British Curriculum / KS3–KS4 Science / GCSE & IGCSE Aldenham Prep Riyadh is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and committed Science Specialist Teacher to join our growing British international school in Riyadh. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Science specialist to support the continued development of Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including preparation for GCSE and/or IGCSE Science. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, well-structured and challenging Science lessons that develop pupils’ scientific knowledge, enquiry skills and confidence. The role will include: Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 Preparing pupils for GCSE and/or IGCSE Science Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the British curriculum Supporting practical, enquiry-based and investigative Science learning Using assessment data effectively to track progress and inform planning Supporting curriculum development across KS3–KS4 Science Maintaining high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour and engagement Contributing to the wider life of the school, including clubs, activities and school events The Successful Candidate Will Have A recognised teaching qualification, such as QTS Or PGCE. A relevant degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related subject Experience teaching Science within a British curriculum setting Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching KS3 and KS4 Science Experience preparing pupils for GCSE and/or IGCSE Science Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills A commitment to safeguarding, pupil wellbeing and high academic standards A reflective, collaborative and professional approach Experience with IGCSE specifications such as Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel or OxfordAQA would be an advantage.
