Skills and Qualifications:
- No previous teaching experience required; suitable for newly qualified teachers or those looking to start their career in special education.
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Patience, creativity, and resilience when working with children who have complex learning requirements.
- Basic understanding of special educational needs (SEN) principles is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
