Located in the beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands, our small, friendly school invites applicants for the position of Specialist S.E.N. Teacher. Providenciales Primary & Middle School is an independent community school in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Our Primary School has operated on Providenciales for 35 years, with our Middle School opening eight years ago. Required from September 2026, Providenciales Middle School is looking to appoint a committed and inspiring teacher to join our excellent Early Years and Primary School teaching team. As a new role within our school, we are excited to enhance our provision with the following role: You will be responsible for the teaching of a small class of 5 students with Special Educational Needs. Working within a team comprising a full-time Teaching Assistant and part-time auxiliary assistant, the successful candidate will lead planning and provision within the SEN Resource Classroom. Our provision is aimed at students who benefit from access to a mainstream educational experience, alongside a specialist and individualized curriculum. Our specialist SEN teacher will work under the guidance of our existing Special Educational Needs Coordinator to develop and deliver learning in line with students’ Individual Learning Plans.
