About the RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic Spanish Language Teacher to join our World Languages department. The ideal candidate will create a vibrant learning environment that fosters both linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation. You will be responsible for teaching Spanish across various grade levels, ensuring students develop strong communication skills in accordance with our international standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement engaging lesson plans for Spanish as a second language .
Develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through interactive activities .
Introduce students to the diverse cultures, traditions, and history of Spanish-speaking countries.
Assess student performance regularly and provide detailed progress reports to parents and school leadership.
Contribute to school-wide events, such as International Day, to promote cultural awareness.
RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language, Hispanic Studies, or a related field.
Certification: Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, State Teaching License) is required.
Experience: Previous experience teaching Spanish in an [international or American curriculum school](cite: 2.3.2) is highly preferred.
Skills: Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native level) and excellent English communication skills.
Attributes: Strong classroom management skills and a passion for student-centered learning.
