About this role
We are looking for a passionate, talented, and inspiring singing teacher to lead, develop and support vocal work across the academy—particularly with our GCSE music students.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced musician with a strong background in piano accompaniment and vocal technique. You should have previous experience teaching and working with young people, ideally at secondary school level, and be confident in preparing students for GCSE Performing exams. A genuine enthusiasm for helping students grow in confidence and skill—especially in preparation for performances—is essential.
This is a great opportunity to make a real impact on students' musical journeys, and there may also be the chance to get involved in exciting project-based work as part of the wider curriculum.
We're looking for someone who is:
Energetic and encouraging in the classroom
Reliable, punctual, and organised
A clear communicator with great interpersonal skills
Passionate about teaching and making music enjoyable and accessible to all
