Senior Science Technician

Role: Senior Science Technician Grade and Salary: Grade 4: £18,788 - £20,380 per annum (£28,598 - £31,022 FTE) Work Pattern: 27 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (term time only plus 2 weeks) - 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) Contract Type: Permanent The School: The Manor Academy has an excellent reputation for its high standards of teaching, student behaviour and academic achievement. The role: We are looking to appoint a dedicated Science Technician to join our successful Science Department. This role will provide support to colleagues within the Science Department with preparing practical lessons, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the safe storage of chemicals and materials. Please note that the 27 hours per week will be spread over 5 days. The person: The successful candidate will have good subject knowledge and a passion for science. You will have a strong understanding of the health and safety requirements, excellent IT and communication skills and have the ability to manage your time effectively. Why join us?
