Being part of Cambridge means you have a strong reputation behind you.   About the role We are home to many ex-teachers and education professionals who have found a career in managing assessments for qualifications ranging from Cambridge IGCSE and O Level to Cambridge International A Level. In this valued role, you will be one of our Physics and General Sciences subject specialists. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of tasks to ensure the successful delivery of examinations for learners around the world. As part of this role, you will: oversee the production of the question papers taken by learners in the many exam series that we offer, ensuring that they are 100% accurate and free from error. ensure question papers are comparable from series-to-series, year-to-year, and are fair to candidates from different countries and backgrounds.    work on setting the thresholds that determine grades.    work with a range of stakeholders and Assessment Specialists, including Setters, Revisers, Vetters and Principal Examiners. manage teams of examiners and contribute to succession planning for the future. work collaboratively with our ministry partners around the world to develop and revise their syllabuses.   As part of the University of Cambridge, we work to incredibly high standards.
