This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role within the SEND provision at Kingsway Park High School, supporting the continued development of an inclusive, ambitious and student-centred approach to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities across the school.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Headteacher – SENDCo to lead and manage high-quality provision for students with SEND, ensuring barriers to learning are identified and removed so that all students can thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage provision for students with SEND across the schoolSupport the implementation and development of the school’s SEND strategy and inclusive practiceOversee assessment, identification, intervention and review processes for students with SENDEnsure EHCPs and SEND support plans are implemented effectively and reviewed in line with statutory requirementsLead, support and develop members of the SEND team, including HLTAs and Teaching AssistantsDeliver and coordinate SEND training and support for teaching and support staffMonitor student progress and evaluate the impact of SEND interventions and provisionWork collaboratively with families, external agencies and wider school teams to support student outcomesPromote inclusive teaching approaches and adaptive practice across t
