Tes is supporting the appointment of a SEND Tutor to join an organisation based in West Sussex.
Job Title: SEND Tutor
Working Hours: Part time and Full time (including a blend of part and full time)
Location: You will be expected to travel to various locations to tutor during term time. The distance you are willing to travel is up to you, however the further you can travel, the more students we can potentially offer you.

Salary: £30-42 an hour depending on experience, skills and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-person educational tuition to children and young people with SEND needs (at times, tuition is provided online; however, the majority is face to face).
Plan, prepare, and teach a range of bespoke and student-centred lessons to ensure student engagement and progress.
Establish SMART targets for all learners and regularly review progress against these.
Design interventions that will support both the emotional and academic engagement of students.
Safeguard the welfare of students, including following the defined safeguarding processes in line with our safeguarding policy.
