We are looking for someone who can apply their understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, barriers to learning, Further Education and careers. The successful candidate will play a key role in giving our students the best start, and then support them to progress towards positive opportunities beyond college. Other key duties include: · Carrying out school engagement, personalised transition planning, and coordination · Contributing to the EHCP consultation process · Engaging with students, families, and relevant stakeholders, and being a key point of contact for those with EHCPs prior to starting college. · Having a caseload of EHCP students · Collaborate with the SEND and Quality Teams regarding emerging staff training needs · Line management of Specialist Learning Support Assistants.
