SEND Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting for two SEND Teaching Assistant roles as Halstead St Andrew’s, one in Pre-Prep/Key Stage 1 and one in Prep/Key Stage 2. The SEND TA will work on a one-to-one basis to support in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. They will work alongside class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils and promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. They will support the pupil to enable them to access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement. The SEND TA will also be expected to perform duties and other events as required.
