We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator with experience of SEND teaching and a genuine desire to make a difference in pupils’ learning and development. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons, assessing pupil progress, and adapting your teaching to meet the diverse and individual needs of every child through a collaborative and child-centred approach.
As part of our dedicated team, you will work closely with colleagues, support staff, parents and external professionals to ensure high-quality provision for pupils with additional needs. You will contribute to the wider life of the school, collaborate on curriculum development, and promote high standards of behaviour and achievement within an inclusive learning environment. A strong commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and ensuring the wellbeing, safety and progress of every child is essential, alongside excellent communication skills, high expectations, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
The successful candidate will hold QTS and have recent experience teaching in a primary setting, including supporting pupils with SEND. In return, we offer a welcoming and inclusive environment, a strong culture of collaboration, ongoing support for career progression, and the opportunity to be part of the wider Eastern Education Group.
