SEND Teacher - Pellon, Halifax HX2 0RU Salary: £28,288 - £44,304 | Full Time (40 hours/week) Purpose of the Role To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. Within newly introduced nurturing room, we have a variety of methodical approaches to help calm students down from Lego Therapy to our sensory sandpit. Key Responsibilities: · Plan, teach, and assess a range of subjects and learning to support students’ progression within English from Functional Skills to GCSE · Work as part of the team to deliver lessons, support positive behaviour, and to make students feel safe so that they can learn and achieve · Follow whole school systems to teaching and learning.
