Buxlow School is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher to start in September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teachers or teachers early in their career to make a real difference working with individuals and small groups of pupils who have additional needs.
The role is full time starting in September 2026. We are seeking dynamic, inspirational, and highly motivated teachers to join us. You will be enthusiastic, experienced in working with pupils with ASC and associated comorbid conditions such as sensory processing, developmental language disorder and developmental coordination disorder, and well qualified with a good understanding SEND needs.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver a tailored curriculum to pupils aged 4 – 11 with a range of learning and communication needs.

Under the direction of the Head, carry out the professional duties of a school teacher as set out in the current School policies.
Uphold the professional code of the school
Teach in accordance with the ethos, organisation and policies of the school as a fully committed member of the teaching team and as detailed in the specific duties and core standards.
Provide a high-quality education service for our students in accordance with policies, procedures and practices and the standards set.
