About this role

Westminster Under School is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dependable SEND Support Assistant to provide dedicated support to a pupil with a physical disability and social communication needs. You will help the pupil move safely around the School, participate fully in lessons, activities and trips, and develop their confidence and independence. Working closely with teachers, parents and the Head of Learning Development, you will build a supportive relationship that responds sensitively to the pupil’s changing needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and may be considering a career in education or SEND. You will join a warm, welcoming and highly motivated school community in the heart of London. This role is envisaged to start as soon as possible, until the second week of July 2028 (the end of the 2027 - 2028 academic year when the pupil is due to leave the school).
