About this role
Plymouth College is a leading co-educational school, which has operated at the forefront of independent education since its inception in 1877. With its excellent programmes for the academic and personal development of pupils, fantastic wellbeing and pastoral care and world leading performance sports and co-curricular activities, the College produces well-rounded, confident and resilient young people who stand out from the crowd.
We are seeking a dedicated SEND Learning Mentor to provide tailored guidance for KS3 and KS4 pupils, focusing on their learning stage rather than simply their age.
This role involves working closely with pupils to enhance their academic progress, leading interventions, and fostering strong relationships with families. You will collaborate with the SENCo to implement access arrangements, support transitions, and facilitate targeted learning programmes, including SEND provisions and literacy interventions.
Additionally, you will oversee study sessions, coordinate support groups, and contribute to after school clubs and co-curricular activities. If you’re committed to making a meaningful impact on pupils’ educational journeys, we would love to hear from you.
THE CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS IS 09.00HRS BST ON MONDAY 20TH JULY 2026
Interviews to be held on Friday 24th July 2026.
