Aurora Peartree will be a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious school for children and young people aged 5–19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With a capacity of 120 students, our vision is to create a safe, enriching and aspirational environment where every learner can thrive.
Your Role
As our SENCo Assistant, you'll provide administrative and organisational support to the SENCO, helping to ensure effective whole-school SEN provision through the coordination of EHCP reviews, provision mapping, timetabling and related systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
Support the SENDCo in promoting an inclusive approach to SEN across the school.
Assist with the Annual Review process and maintain effective links with Local Authorities and external professionals.
Support the planning and delivery of high-quality, differentiated learning experiences.
Help the SENDCo deliver CPD and share key SEN information with staff and stakeholders.
Work with education, clinical teams, students and parents to ensure IEPs, risk assessments and SEN documentation are accurate, up to date and effective.

Essential Qualifications
GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
