SEN Teaching Assistant

Connie Rothman School is a small, friendly independent special secondary school with a sixth form, providing a supportive and nurturing environment for young people with SEND. We are looking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential and who would enjoy working in a small, specialist education setting. Previous experience of working with students with SEND, particularly those with ASD profiles, would be an advantage. However, we are also interested in hearing from candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, commitment and ability to build positive relationships with our students. The successful candidate will: Be enthusiastic, patient and committed to supporting young people with SEND Be able to build strong, trusting relationships with students Work effectively as part of a small and supportive team Have good communication skills and a willingness to learn Have Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE grade C or higher) Prospective candidates are advised to read the job description and person specification carefully before applying.
