About the Role
Are you a passionate and creative teacher who believes that every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same and where the relationships you build can transform lives?
At Norton College Tewkesbury, we're looking for an exceptional SEN Teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team. This is more than a teaching role—it's an opportunity to help young people overcome barriers, rediscover a love of learning and achieve more than they ever thought possible. Working with pupils with a range of additional needs, you'll create engaging learning experiences that build confidence, encourage independence and celebrate every success, no matter how small.
As an SEN Teacher, you'll deliver creative and personalised learning that meets the individual needs of our pupils, helping them to develop academically, socially and emotionally.
You'll inspire curiosity, motivate learners and adapt your teaching to enable every young person to experience success. Whether you're teaching within the classroom, delivering small-group interventions or supporting our outreach provision, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping brighter futures.
You will use assessment and data intelligently to monitor progress, identify next steps and ensure that every pupil receives the support and challenge they need to flourish.
What You'll Be Doing
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for individuals, small groups and classes in line with the school's curriculum framework.
Deliver one-to-one teaching off-site as part of the school's outreach programme where required.
