About this role
We are seeking an innovative, experienced, and nurturing KS3/KS4 SEND teacher to join our school as Maternity cover, with the prospect to move towards a permanent role with our growing school.
You will work with a small class of pupils whose needs include ASC, ADHD, high anxiety, and attachment or trauma-related barriers to learning. All our students have an EHCP, and most have SEMH needs.
Emotional well-being and high-calibre learning are our two main priorities and lie at the heart of everything we do. Nurture and connection are the foundation of our approach, ensuring children feel safe, experience reduced school-based anxiety, and have the space to learn and build resilience. We are a no-consequence school, where connection comes before correction, and relationships form the basis for meaningful learning.

You will develop a stimulating and supportive learning environment, delivering a bespoke, topic-based curriculum that meets pupils’ academic, social, and personal development needs.
In addition to classroom teaching, you will lead Maths across the school, supporting staff with planning, assessment, and progression, and contribute to whole-school development initiatives.
