Key Stage 3 and 4 SEN Teacher Grateley House School, Andover Contract type: Permanent Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum 40 hours a week Start date: September Grateley House School is a specialist day school for children and young people aged 11-19 with a diagnosis of autism and other associated needs. We are seeking a dynamic, committed, and innovative teacher. The school delivers the National Curriculum and students are supported to access a range of subjects by experienced subject teachers and teaching assistants, with input from a therapy team. The successful candidate will ensure that our students engage in learning and are equipped with all the tools they need to progress. The Role: We are seeking a dynamic, committed, and creative teacher to join our dedicated team. You will deliver engaging, adaptable lessons that build confidence, curiosity, and achievement in learners with additional needs. Working alongside experienced teaching assistants and our in-house therapy team, you will play a key role in ensuring every student has the tools, confidence, and support they need to thrive—both academically and personally. Deliver high-quality teaching within Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4. Support students to achieve qualifications up to GCSE level. Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual EHCP outcomes. Motivate and engage learners through inclusive, creative practice. Provide meaningful feedback to accelerate progress and build confidence. Contribute to enrichment and the wider life of the school. Work collaboratively within a skilled and supportive team. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4. Strong classroom management and a flexible, responsive teaching style. A reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
