The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and nurturing science Teacher to join our team.
This role focuses on teaching secondary-aged students often starting below age-related expectations, often at KS2–KS3 levels, and supporting them to make progress towards GCSE or appropriate pathways.
This is not a traditional secondary science role. Success in this position comes from:
Building strong relationships
Adapting teaching to individual needs
Supporting students to experience success in learning
Many of our students start at low levels but are academically able to catch up, so strong knowledge of pedagogy is highly valued.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (No ECTs)
Has experience working with students with SEN and/or SEMH needs
Can teach science up to GCSE level
Ability to contribute to another subject area (e.g. IT at KS3) but not compulsory
