About this role

St George's Ascot announced in January 2026 that it will join the St Albans Education Group (STAEG) during the summer term. In April 2026, we announced our future partnership with St George's School Windsor Castle and our plan to create a new co-educational through school. The new through school, which is anticipated to be fully operational by September 2028, will offer a seamless educational journey from ages 3 to 18 with access to excellent facilities across the two existing sites. St George's Ascot, as a step towards the co-educational future, will welcome boys, together with girls, into Years 7 and 9 from September 2027. St George’s has a vibrant and diverse culture of performance and girls are encouraged to take part in as many performance projects as possible. Drama improves confidence, improves team working skills and public speaking proficiency – very valuable not just in school but in the wider world. LAMDA lessons are very popular with the girls and they achieve impressive standards of work. Many of our students also perform with local Drama clubs and societies, and have also performed at Eton College, as well as with notable national societies such as the National Youth Theatre and National Musical Youth Theatre. We are looking to recruit a self-employed tutor of LAMDA for the start of the new academic year in September 2026. The successful candidate will have experience in teaching LAMDA to students aged between 11-18 years as well as having extensive performing experience in their own right which will, therefore, benefit the students. Sessions are normally 20 minutes long and usually on a one-to-one basis and the hours worked will depend on the number of pupils that require tutoring each term. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining the details of parents and invoicing them directly. Staff benefits include: Use of state-of-the-art gym with Technogym equipment at allocated times Staff swimming sessions and family swimming sessi
