Job Title: Secondary SEN Teacher
Location: New Barn School - River View House, Newbury, Berkshire RG14 2PS
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

About the role
As an SEN Secondary Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, personalised education to students with a range of additional needs across the secondary age range. Working within a supportive and structured environment, you will adapt teaching approaches and curriculum content to ensure all learners can access and engage with their education.
You will create meaningful learning experiences that develop both academic understanding and key life skills, helping students build confidence, resilience, and independence. Working closely with colleagues, families, and specialist professionals, you will ensure that every student receives the tailored support they need to progress and prepare for the next stage of their education or future pathways.
