Secondary Principal - Vivaio Campus - Job Description Position Type: Full-time Reports to: Proprietors Location: Via Vivaio 7 Campus General Responsibilities • Lead the academic, pastoral and operational life of the Secondary School (Grades 6–12), ensuring excellence across Middle and Senior School (Grades 6-12) • Foster a culture of high expectations, kindness, respect and student wellbeing. • Ensure a seamless educational journey from Grade 6 through to graduation. • Work collaboratively with the Proprietors and the Head of Secondary (Academics) to continuously strengthen teaching, learning and student outcomes. • Promote a strong sense of belonging, school spirit and student engagement throughout the Secondary School. • Be a highly visible and approachable presence throughout the school day, building positive relationships with students, staff and families. Strategic Leadership • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Secondary School. • Lead the Secondary Leadership Team and ensure consistent implementation of school priorities. • Monitor school improvement targets using academic and pastoral data. • Contribute to whole-school strategic planning and development. • Report regularly to the Proprietors on student achievement, wellbeing, staffing and school improvement initiatives. Teaching and Learning • Ensure outstanding teaching and learning across Grades 6–12. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), ensuring high standards of implementation and continuous improvement. • Work closely with the Head of Secondary (Academics) and Heads of Faculty to ensure curriculum continuity and progression from Grade 6 through Grade 12. • Monitor academic standards through lesson observations, daily learning walks, assessment data and student progress meetings. • Promote evidence-informed teaching, effective assessment and a culture of continuous improvement. • Sup
